Most of us grew up playing outside all day, every day. Nowadays, with all the electronics around, our kids don't get as much outdoor play as they should. We compiled a fun list of toys to get our kids outside this spring/summer and thought we'd share our ideas. The best part is that these toys will keep your kids playing in your own backyard! Sadly, our kids aren't growing up in the Full House era that we grew up in so it's always better to know where our littles one are and what they are doing.

I really love these little water tables. My kids have one and they play with it all the time! This one is an Amazon bestseller but they have a ton of options. Bonus: water play is extremely beneficial for a child's development.

This toy has a lot of really great perks. First off, it is a good sized little playhouse for a pretty good price. It has three different areas for imaginative play. My kids love playing restaurant and I know they would love this! Secondly, it's a nice alternative to an enclosed playhouse. They won't get too hot inside here and you don't have to worry about not being able to see your kids!

I bet most kid today wouldn't have any idea what a pogo stick is... and that means it's time to bring them back! These were so much fun when I was younger and they take some serious coordination - which would be great for them to develop!

One of the best selling toys for outdoor fun, kites are a great option! Kids love them and the best part is that you can find some priced really well so you don't have to be too upset when they eventually break or get caught in a tree, haha! Still fun and still worth it!

This last one is another vintage throwback toy. My grandparents had this at their house growing up and we always loved playing it. It's a fun alternative to horseshoes because it is a lot lighter and easier for children to play. We love this game. It's similar to cornhole (another favorite) but probably a little easier for younger kids.
